Emily Mortimer, a British actress and screenwriter is known for making a significant contribution to Hollywood films. Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer was born on December 1 1971 at Hammersmith, London, to famous barrister and writer Sir John Mortimer and Penelope Gollop. Emily has numerous siblings. Her father was previously married. marriage to Penelope Fletcher, who was her half-sister. Rosie is her sister younger. Her father was in a relationship with actress Wendy Craig, and she has a brother-in-law named Ross Bentley. Mortimer went to the 'St Paul's Girls' School which is located in London. Following her graduation from Oxford University in 1994 where she studied English in Lincoln College and Russian, she attended Moscow Arts Theatre Drama School to pursue a degree in acting.
