Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has performed in 11 Broadway shows, including the return of Violet and the originating roles in the Broadway shows that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances as a dancer and actor in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first television appearance when she was just the age of fifteen. Then she appeared in Bunheads and Psych in addition to Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster is a soloist who has performed in the United States and abroad along with Michael Rafter. They have recorded songs from the debut album "Wish" and the sequel CD, An Evening With Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. Ball State University conferred her with an honorary PhD in 2011. Alongside being an instructor and advisor within the Department of Theatre and Dance, she was also awarded the degree from Ball State University. Since March, 2015, she has been starring as "Younger" in TVLand the new TV show produced by Darren Star.
