Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Bo on The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories of playing rehearsals together with her mother. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actorsworkshop held at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. After she had converted to Judaism and they were married again in a Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on the 13th of May, in 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to working. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production of the fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple in the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its popularity on social media has earned it a large internet following.
